I made some bodega cats

You know, I'm pretty captivated by AI. It's been around for quite a while, but the way it's intricately threaded itself into every corner of our lives in 2023 is pretty astonishing. It's like this never-ending adventure of discovery—I might think I've got a handle on it, but there's always another layer waiting to be uncovered. Sure, it’s spooky with grand consequences if things go off the rails, but that's all the more reason why I believe we're responsible for truly grasping it, don't you agree?

Anyway, I’ve been messing with Midjourney—there's a thrill in conjuring up whatever random idea crosses your mind and watching AI bring it to life. But this time I decided to use a stash of Bodega-cat photos on my phone as inspo. For those of you who may not know, Bodega Cats are basically an unofficial NYC mascot, and without fail I take a picture of every Bodega cat I encounter, so having lived in NYC for 15 years, I’ve accumulated quite a few to pick from. This ended up being a great idea because Midjourney transformed them into beautiful pieces of art, upon my specific instructions obviously).

Also added to the lot are other New York paraphernalia starring ‘A Bagel and a Schmear’, ‘Side Walk Party’ & ‘Feeling Yellow’.

Here’s an urban dictionary definition of a Bodega Cat - I completely disagree with the part about it biting anybody. All bodega cats are perfect and chill.

Okay bye!
