Borrowed Lines
I didn’t want Lilah’s drawings to end up stored away in a box. There is something raw and beautiful about the way children draw: instinctively, freely, and without worrying about rules or perfection. Each piece begins with one of her drawings. I use her marks as the foundation, building around them without erasing what she made. The result is a collaboration between us and an evolving record of how we both create over time.
Our first collaboration is titled ‘Growing Light’.
