2019 series 👩🎨
My early work was rooted in fine arts, inspired by artists like Robert Rauschenberg who blurred the boundaries between disciplines. I later moved into digital work, but recently felt pulled back to something more tactile.
Working with found objects reopened an old question for me: What is art? What can it be? Challenging those definitions keeps the work alive.
Returning Home reflects two homecomings at once. A return to making physical art, and a return to the ocean, the one constant across the many places I’ve lived. Water reminds me that everything is always changing.
